RESULTS Cor­ti­cobasal Degen­er­a­tion (CBD) (2)

COR­TI­COBASAL DEGEN­ER­A­TION: A slowly pro­gres­sive dis­or­der char­ac­ter­ized by neu­rode­gen­er­a­tive changes of cer­tain brain regions, includ­ing the cere­bral cor­tex (par­tic­u­larly the frontal and pari­etal lobes) and parts of the basal gan­glia. Most patients ini­tially develop symp­toms in their 60s or 70s.
